Anything good enough to eat, is good enough to make
Number of Servings: 3
1 C simply nature golden roasted flax seed
1 tbsp chia seeds
1 tbsp Rosemary, dried
1 tsp Garlic Salt
1 tsp Onion powder
1 cup water
Edges tend to crisp first, so it helps to press them back in before baking. Also, you can try a variety of spices to try different flavored crackers. These are great with cream cheese, humus, salsa, or sour cream based dips.
Mix all ingredients in a mixing bowl, cover with a tight lid or plastic wrap and refrigerate for 12-18 hours. Preheat oven to 400 degrees and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Spread seed mixture over parchment paper. Using a second piece of parchment, cover mixture and use a flat spatula to press and spread seeds as evenly as possible. Then bake for approx 18 minutes and using the second piece of parchment, lay the paper over the seeds to flip them over and bake the other side until the moisture is removed from the seeds, approx 15 mins. They will be crisp and easy to break into pieces to make crackers.
As average as can be, wife and mother of three. I work full time as a daytime guardian angel of a few toddlers and a few school age kids over the summer. I especially enjoy crafts and cooking, but as a side hobby I raise small barn yard animals including goats, chickens, and bunny.
